Mr Marko Lens completed medical training at the University of Verona Medical School in Italy where he graduated with Magna cum laude. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery training and became fully accredited plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Following his surgical training he studied at the Harvard University in Boston, USA where he was awarded with the postgraduate Master of Science degree. With a further desire for training in the area of the skin cancer Mr. Lens pursued a fellowship at the University of Oxford, John Radcliffe Hospital and Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, where he completed his PhD in the field of skin melanoma.

Mr Lens’s main clinical experience consists of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, minimally invasive non-surgical facial rejuvenation and specialised surgical care for patients with moles, benign skin lesions and skin cancers. His main research interest is in the field of skin cancer, carcinogenesis and skin aging.

Mr Lens is currently working at the King’s College in London. Mr Lens also practices privately at 20 Wimpole Street in London.

Mr Lens has full medical registration and he is on the specialist registry for plastic and reconstructive surgery of the UK General Medical Council. Mr Lens is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Mr Lens has published in many peer-reviewed surgical, dermatological and cancer journals and wrote chapters in various textbooks. With an active involvement in lecturing and medical education he continues to present papers at various national and international meetings in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery and skin cancers.
